FEATHERS + A FRESH BEDROOM

I painted these bad boys for our bedroom. I think they're a nice play on masculine and feminine for a master bed. I had to include a "boy" feather for Colin, obvi. 

Since the new addition of the artwork, I thought this might be a nice time to show a little before + after of our bedroom. She's made quite the journey. First, a peek at what our room looks like now. 

You might spot my frenchie, Macy. She is, of course, taking her afternoon nap. 

(Lamps were found at Hobby Lobby, Nightstand at World Market. Bedding is West Elm, and Curtains are Bed, Bath and Beyond.) 

The mirror and headboard were handmade, and the nightstand in this picture just got a fresh coat of paint. You can never go wrong with high gloss black with gold accents, right?
