You might notice the common thread in these recent pieces of mine: GOLD! I love this idea of a falling, crumbling gold. Not "crumbling" as if to say something about the state of our nation's economy. No, I mean gold as grace, freedom and forgiveness. These sweet gifts poured out by God onto us. Our God is so good ...it blows my mind.
The start of this series began here. This piece was inspired by a Mumford and Son's song: "I Will Wait." On the sides, the lyrics read "Raise my hands, paint my spirit gold. Bow my head, keep my heart slow."
